As the Omicron variant moves through us I wanted you to be aware of our Indiana State and St. Joe County numbers.
81 of our state’s 92 counties are, as of 01-11-2022, in the red, #3 level. These are the highest levels of our measurement scale used by our state.
You can see the numbers for our county in the picture below. You will notice our rate of infection per 100,000 people has basically doubled since 01-04-2022; the last information I sent out to you.
We will continue our masking indoors at church to provide as much protection for each other as we can. We have another staff member who has tested positive this week and our daytime preschool had to close today and tomorrow because of this Covid19 exposure. (They will also be out for Martin Luther King Day on Monday.) We plan for preschool’s return next Tuesday for in person learning.
I am hopeful that the Omicron surge will pass through over the next few weeks and we will experience less quarantine time needed and a return to a more new normal of our regular living.
