As an update to our flood relief efforts in the South Bend area we want to share with you the great work that UMCOR has begun in South Bend, but also the needs that continue to exist. With 1,000 homes affected, we are still left with some homes that need to be mucked out before the repairs and re-building can begin. We are looking for people who can help clean out basements by hauling boxes and other items from people's basements. This is an opportunity for the Church to step forward and fill the void that is left preventing us from moving forward.
You can help by signing up to volunteer. It's an easy process to volunteer, just send an email to email@example.com giving us name, contact information and availability and our volunteer coordinators will respond.
This is the current information we have. We are working on a phone number that can be used to volunteer if you do not have email access. -- Missions Team
